How To Save America

Do you feel desperate to do something to save our nation? Are you a patriot, a Christian, and/or a traditional American? Are you in culture shock like I am as you look around at what is happening to our nation that we love so much? I had never thought the things going on in 2020 would have ever been taken seriously, ideas such as socialism, Green New Deal, defunding police, evil allowed to run rampant and allowing cities to be burnt, glorifying criminal actions and criminals themselves while demonizing the good guys, housing illegal immigrants, some of them criminals, in sanctuary cities, and closing the economy over a virus. And yet it is quickly becoming a real, permanent threat to our way of life.

America has never been perfect, but it works well. That is why so many try to come here. Our nation is founded on biblical principles that have proven successful. Freedom of choice, whether for our career paths, our healthcare or even choosing not to have healthcare, freedom to take opportunities to make something of ourselves (which yes, includes working hard but feeling good about our accomplishments), are things we hold precious. America is not a "what's in it for me" nation, but 
"what can I do for my country?" Law and order keep the nation civil as we live and work together.

But let me cut to the chase. Most of us have been watching the news so we know the problems going on, and we want to do something to stop it. We worry about our one vote, for fear there will be dishonestly in the election, people who should not be voting will vote, such as dead people, noncitizens, some will vote twice, etc. Will our vote even make it in the number?

This made me feel powerless. However, I want to appeal to those who are Christians. There is something we can do, because let's face it, this is a spiritual war and we know it. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Satan knows his time is short, and he has pulled all the stops. He is controlling the narrative, including the media, Hollywood and many of our governmental officials. There is a lot of money behind him as well. He is the prince of the power of the air, after all. The world system? It's his.

I have been reading Rebecca Brown's book, He Came to Set the Captives Free and it's very illuminating as to what goes on in the spiritual world, that is present here in the physical world, right here, right now, not only in the occult, but in our churches. Read her book for a wake up call. Anyway, I went on her Facebook page. She sadly died on June 23, 2020, but a lot of her journal entries are on there. There is an article of hers that was written in 2017, but is the answer I have been waiting for! What is going to save our nation is repentance, revival, and tearing down the high places! We need to RECLAIM OUR GROUND in the USA for God. Rebecca Brown notes that "on April 29, 1607, Pastor Robert Hunt led the English settlers that landed at Cape Henry in prayer to make a covenant for our nation with God. They knelt in the sand by a wooden cross they had erected and prayed:

"We do hereby Dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the people within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations to take the kingdom of God to all the earth. May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations as long as this earth remains...May all who see this Cross remember what we have done here, and may those who come here to inhabit this land join us in this Covenant and in this noble work that the Holy Scriptures may be fulfilled."

The United States has a covenant with God!!! That's huge! God will honor this if we do. I fear that this election may result in evil people ruling this nation that belongs to GOD! We don't have time between now and the election to plan another revival service, but we can all do something that is bigger: rededicate our lives to the Lord and stay true to this covenant! Here's how:

1. Search our hearts and confess our sins, repenting before the Lord and making right anything we have ought against another or with God.

2. Go through our homes and burn anything that is occultic, books, magazines, games, movies, pictures, trinkets, anything that is of an evil origin. BURN IT!  Clean house.

3. Put oil over your doors and windows of your home and pray that God will keep evil out, will stop any demonic power from entering your home and will seal it with His protection. God tells us in the Lord's model prayer to pray to be "delivered from evil." Evil is all around us. How often should we put on the whole armour of God in Eph. 6? Daily, just as we are to take up our cross daily.

4. Satan's workers love high places, and they claim the ground and curse it as far as they can see. Remember in the Old Testament that the Israelites were supposed to tear down the high places?  This is how we do it. Find the highest spot in your city or town and claim it back, sprinkling oil as you pray for God to bind up and get rid of all evil spirits on the land. Ask God to break all evil curses off of the land.

5. Pray for God to close all portals placed on the land by Satan's servants, allowing them to come up onto ground that has already been claimed for God's kingdom. Believe it or not, these portals are especially placed on church properties so pray there as well.

6. Remove and destroy all things used in the service of demon spirits. If you find occultic items in the grass of public parks or the high places, get rid of them. If it is in your power to remove occultic items from schools or universities, get rid of them. Owners of gift shops should remove any idols or witchcraft relics. All New Age stuff needs to go. Churches need to get rid of idols as well, and remove any music that has occultic symbolism in it, including videos and other media. 

Stay away from magic, yoga, martial arts, witchcraft, psychics, fortune tellers, seances, ouiji boards, trying out ESP, drugs, alcohol, rock music, biofeedback, yoga, cartoons and games using occult symbols and drawing in mind control LIKE DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS and POKEMON, accupuncture, sexual fornication, etc. - these are all doorways to demonic influence and power in your life that will keep you from being able to witness effectively to the unsaved, grow spiritually, or if dealing with these things before saved, they can keep you from getting saved. They can have power and influence on you for the rest of your life. STAY FAR AWAY from these things! Reject them from your life, your home, and your family. As far as occultic stores, you can put oil on your shoes and walk in and pray quietly, claiming Jeremiah 48:26, praying that God will shut them down. You can also sprinkle oil on the ground in front of occultic stores while praying for God to cleanse the area of demons and shut down these stores. Areas where riots are taking place are likely filled with demonic activity and need heavy prayer and warring angels. Be wise, go in at least by two's, and pray quietly but out loud for protection and for God to break any curses put upon you before getting in your car or going home. Demons have sharp ears and will not be happy with what you are doing, but this needs to be done. See the Facebook article I referenced above for details on how to do this in your town. 

7. Ask God to place powerful warring angels on the land to prevent any of Satan's servants from coming back onto the land to re-claim it for Satan and use it for evil purposes. 

8. Work to sever demonic influences, bondages and curses from the lives of unbelievers so they can come to Jesus. 

I am taking all this from her article. I have great respect for her. She was a physician who worked her adult life with people in the occult, bringing them out of slavery. 

She says the way we claim ground is to WALK it. We have to walk the land, not drive it (see Malachi 4:3). Our feet have to touch the ground. 

From the high hills or mountains (high places) Satan's people can send out curses onto all the land that they can see from there. While up there, claim Jeremiah 48:26. Ask the Lord to fulfill it. It says, "Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against the LORD: Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision." It's difficult to do anything when violently vomiting. She has seen God work in this way over and over as she and her husband have claimed and cleansed the high places, and meeting places that witches have used. 

Honestly, if I read something like this a year ago I would have disregarded it as crazy.  However, after the studies I have been doing the past few months, and seeing what is going on in our cities, and who is coming up for election, I am not disregarding it anymore. I have been awakened, my eyes are now open, at least to some extent, enough to know we as Christians need to WAKE UP and reclaim our  nation for the Lord OR WE WILL LOSE IT to Satan's army. It's nothing to laugh at. Are you PREPARED FOR WAR? Some (probably many!) people we see on TV openly proclaim they are demon possessed or in the occult (like Illuminati), including Beyonce, and at least two of the three leaders of Black Lives Matter. And yet many Christians follow these people or organizations, and many businesses support them. 

Let's do this thing. You as a believer have the power to do it through the authority of Jesus Christ. If we all reclaim our areas, Satan will become less powerful as he will have to get off illegal ground, and the warring angels can do their thing. But we need to repent, clean house and PRAY in the authority and name of Jesus Christ. That is what unleashes the power, because it is NOT US. We have to be a pure vessel,  humble and alert, so that GOD CAN DO HIS THING. Jesus' blood not only covers our sins, but Jesus has the power to restrain evil and protect us from it. Use Jesus' name and Scripture as much as possible. Songs of praise to Jesus is also a powerful weapon, but nothing like the Word of God. FIGHT WITH THE WORD OF GOD AND PRAYER! That is God's direction to us. Wear that armour!

Ephesians 6:10-18:

10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Pray Continually

18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Fearing Authority

I am outraged by what I am seeing happening to my country. I just canceled a trip to see my soon to be 2 yr. old granddaughter because I do not want to travel to any cities for fear I may come across rioters, or find myself in a situation where there is a crime occurring and there are no police to come to my aid.

I see on the news older boys holding big guns, stating that they have to defend themselves and their brothers because the police may come and hurt them.

I see vandalism of property that does not belong to them, and that has historical and cultural significance. How selfish that they do not consider what others think, only themselves. Are they so tender that they cannot accept that life is not perfect, and that others are going to disagree with them? Do they have to kill and destroy and vandalize rather than deal with their emotions, and with their disappointment in their nation's past? Where are their parents? I suspect this is a generation that has not learned to "play nice in the sandbox" but cries until they get their own way, and have no moral compass to know what direction is right and what direction is pure evil.

Public schools have not been teaching history like they once did because the kids are not tested on that, and in order to look good, their schools have to perform well in reading comprehension, science and math. Spelling, vocabulary, grammar, history, and other subjects are being left behind. I know because my husband is a teacher, and I have seen the decline in the education system first hand in the children I know. Where is the teaching about government and flag etiquette, patriotism, and world history? Are they familiar with the world wars? Do they truly know what communism and socialism mean? Maybe some schools are doing a good job, but by the look at this next generation, the snowflake generation, they do not appear to respect history, nor desire to learn from it. They are following the same playbook that destroyed Venezuela, and there are similarities between them and communism in their ideals.

History is important because we can learn from it and avoid making the same mistakes as our ancestors. God had the Israelites make memorials to remember certain events in history. And God instructed parents to teach, teach, teach their children, every day, throughout the day. Proverbs 6:20-23: "My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life." Rules and law and order give us guidance and vision and safety.

Deuteronomy 11:16-28: "Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; And then the Lord's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the Lord giveth you. Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Then will the Lord drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the Lord your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you. Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known." There you have it. How is America going to respond? Who is America? You and I. This passage in context is speaking about the nation of Israel, but there are some applications to America today. Are we going to let our nation be taken over by hostile men and women who hate our country, its ideals, and disrespect the brave men and women who gave their lives for it? Are we going to be strong Christians and heed the commandments and even principles laid out in God's Word?

The point that I want to really focus on in this article, however, is this: fearing authority. Should we fear authority? Is there something wrong with the person of authority if people are afraid of them?

Take a child. Should a child fear his father? Well, there is a difference between fearing the man and fearing, or respecting and reverencing the position of authority and that person's ability to enforce law and order. In other words, if you do wrong and you get caught, you are going to fear the consequences. They will be uncomfortable, whether it is a spanking, loss of privileges, hard work to restore what was damaged, having to humble oneself and apologize, or whatever the consequence would be. Does the child really fear his father if he is a good father? No, he fears the consequences of his actions. Will he be punished if he does wrong? Yes. Should that be the expectation? Again, absolutely yes! Is that something to fear? OF COURSE!

Will a child fear his teacher if he does not fear his father? No. Will a child fear the police if he does not fear his father or his teacher? No. Will a child fear God if he does not fear his father, his teacher, or his law enforcement? No. The Bible says in Proverbs 9:10: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." Should it surprise you then that when people do not reverence the Lord, they act foolishly?

If you do what is right, you have no need to fear the police. If you do something wrong, and especially if you run from the police or take a weapon from the police, yes, you need to fear! You have done wrong! You are not in a position to make demands when you are in the wrong. When there is someone in your presence who has authority over you, and like it or not, there are many who hold authority over others including employers, they deserve your respect and obedience. You might not like the person in that uniform personally, but you need to respect their role and position. That goes for anyone in authority over you, including parents and bosses. And respect pastors, who watch out for your souls.

Here is what the Bible has to say about this.

Romans 13:1-7 says, Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.  [IN OTHER WORDS, DO NOT DEFUND THE POLICE!!]

7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour."

Bottom line: It is good and right to fear authority, as this will keep you doing what is right. Expect to be punished if you are doing wrong. How do you fix that? Do what is right. Use the Bible as your ultimate authority because it does not change. Follow the Golden Rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Respect your fellow man, their property, and their children and animals. And don't forget the Ten Commandments.

1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall make no idols.
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy.
5. Honor your father and your mother.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. You shall not covet.

My newsletter is announcing something new - check it out!

My September newsletter is here, which announces something new that I am very excited about: my new VLOG! A Vlog is a video journal. I'm going to post things on it that I hope will be a blessing. It's geared toward women and teen girls, and I would love your input. It's hard to find or get to ladies Bible studies these days, so maybe we can at least share some thoughts over the world wide web. While I agree that the internet can be used for evil purposes, it can also be used for godly purposes, so that is why I have chosen this venue. Time and money is not allowing me right now to attend vendor fairs or speaking engagements, but this I can do easily.
