WELCOME!

Welcome to my blog! I hope to be a resource to help you in your walk with God. Now more than ever we need to get back to the basic fundamentals of moral living and take a stand for what is right and truthful with God as our ultimate authority. His Word is reliable and preserved and can be trusted, so that is the basis for my advice and teaching. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or topics you would like me to cover. I look forward to sharing what God has placed on my heart. See my website at https://www.lovinggodministry.com/ for books and music I have written that will enrich your life!

Ezekiel 22:30: "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." Let's stand in the gap together!

Hating What God Hates

We get called "haters" so much as Christians, but surely if we are to be like Christ, we will hate what He hates. It's interesting that what God hates are things that negatively impact others' lives. God cares about PEOPLE, their reputation, their livelihood, and their safety.

Hating What God Hates
By Dawn Foss
From Proverbs 6:16-19

Consider life, God’s sweetest prize,
Not just our breath, but our daily lives.
What comes from us affects our world,
So guard your heart and habits learned.

It’s good to hate what our Savior hates,
Despise those things that hurt others’ lives.
Precious are souls and life sublime,
So hate pride and schemes, mischief and lies.

Why do you think pride is listed first
Of the seven things God hates the worst?
‘Cause at the root of so many sins
Lies selfish pride that burns within.

Our lies come out in many forms,
None harmless to others' lives or yours.
False witnesses that curb the proof
Can’t fool our God, who knows the truth.

Those mischievous and who sow discord
Reap greater woes than one can afford.
As seeds produce more than their size,
The future harvest affects many lives.

Imagination can be good or bad,
What starts in the mind will come out through the hand.
And hands that shed innocent blood,
Violence and harm God will surely judge.

  1. Not all "Christians" are haters. Some are more evolved than others. God and the bible can be used by all sorts of haters. Some even wear the cross.

  2. Unfortunately there are many who take the sacred Scripture out of context to suit their own agenda rather than God's.
