Be a Generation of Young People who Stand for What's Right. TAKE THE HIGHER ROAD!
WELCOME!
Welcome to my blog! I hope to be a resource to help you in your walk with God. Now more than ever we need to get back to the basic fundamentals of moral living and take a stand for what is right and truthful with God as our ultimate authority. His Word is reliable and preserved and can be trusted, so that is the basis for my advice and teaching. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or topics you would like me to cover. I look forward to sharing what God has placed on my heart. See my website at https://www.lovinggodministry.com/ for books and music I have written that will enrich your life!
Ezekiel 22:30: "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." Let's stand in the gap together!

Beauty in Pain coming soon!
Last night I just finished re-recording my vocals with Horizon Music Group in West Haven, CT. I want to thank Vic Steffens for the great job and great time we had recording! He has been doing this for a very long time, and has recorded a lot of big names. It was an honor to work with him, and I look forward to working with him for my vocals for album #2, that Tate Music Group will be starting to work on in September: "Walking in Wisdom: Singing the Proverbs." I really enjoy putting the messages on my heart to song to be shared with the world.
As soon as the CD is finalized, hopefully in the next couple weeks or so, I will be able to release my music video for my song, "Feelings", and also post pictures of the really cool cover! Thanks to Tate Music Group for doing such a great job with the background music, mixing and mastering, and the cover/insert, etc. Thanks also for the great job on the music video. This has truly been an exciting ride!

Labor pains
Working in church ministry, I can say that there is never a dull moment! That's what is so great about it! Lots of work to do, and it takes the whole team to get it done. Are you someone who is actively participating, or sitting on the sidelines? The problem with sitting on the sidelines is that you don't get the satisfaction of being a part of something greater and bigger than yourself. It's such a great feeling to be able to reach beyond your reach, to influence those in other circles, and to be able to get down in the trenches with others who have a passion like you. It may seem restful to sit on the sidelines, but unless you're working hard, there's nothing to rest from, and you end up feeling lazy rather than restful. That happens to me sometimes in the summer. I'm resting, which is great, but sometimes if I rest too much I feel lazy and unproductive. Work is a good thing; it's healthy (especially emotionally) to work hard. Some people, like myself, are more on top of their game when they're busy. They're more organized, efficient, and productive!
As Fall approaches, we have to kiss Summer good-bye. I hope yours was wonderful! Mine certainly was! Now it's time to buckle down and get back in the swing of things. I'm looking forward to getting into a regular routine. In doing so, I want to make sure I keep on track and stay focused on the Lord, doing my best work for Him. I am looking forward to some projects being completed soon, and getting out in the community to inspire young people, and share words of truth and comfort.
I welcome opportunities to come and speak with older kids and teens about having strong character, and making their lives count for Christ. Please let me know if I can come to your church or school or club. I have been booking in the Fall, and am excited about some opportunities I have lined up. Together we can all make a dent in this world, making a difference in our world for God. It is not in vain! There may be labor pains in your work, but if they are a labor of love, their rewards will be sweet. God bless you!

Are You Discouraged in Christian Service?
As with all of these types of services, Christian service is also so important, and all of these can become draining at times. Pastors, Sunday School teachers, Christian school teachers, music leaders and singers/musicians, Bible study leaders, nursery workers, treasurers, church secretaries, ushers, sanitation engineers - you name it! All these positions can be time consuming and wearisome. Most people serve in their local churches as volunteers in their spare time, above and beyond their normal jobs. We are having a Christian Service Appreciation Day coming up at our church, and I'm so excited about it! It gives us an opportunity to thank them, and reflect upon all that they do to help others, and to further the cause of Christ.
There are days when even the what-seem-to-be-hardiest workers get weak and tired, and feel like quitting. I've been there, maybe not to the point of wanting to quit, but just feeling so unworthy and discouraged. Well, we are unworthy! It's Christ who is worthy of our praise. But fortunately for us, He has chosen to use the base things of this world to bring glory to God the Father. That means we qualify! What a privilege it is to serve others for Christ. I wrote this song, and it's based on Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." It will be my opening song for my 3rd album: Walking with Joy: Singing Philippians. I hope you enjoy this, and are encouraged by the words and truth from Scripture.
Chorus
Verse 2
You obey because you love Him,
