Strawberry Festival on the Madison Green

Today I was at the Strawberry Festival on the Madison, CT Green with my books and CD's. It was a beautiful day! I had some contacts and sales, but overall a slow day. However, it's always wonderful to be out there in the community to represent Christ in a positive way.

Today I was invited to speak to a group in the Fall, so will look forward to that! God is good...all the time! That might have been why I needed to be there, even for that one contact or for the sale of my I Will Stand book that a mom bought for her teens. Praise the Lord!

Hello sister Dwwn Foss. So good to know you thorugh your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am also glad to stop by your blog post which has to do wih the sale of Strawberry but this also gives me an opportunity to get connected with you because of your testimony as a christian. I am from Mumbai, India and have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 37yrs in this great city of Mumbai a city with great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the broken hearted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. We would love to have you come with your two teen agaed daughter and husband to work with us in the slums of Mumbai amongst poorest of poor with sicknesses and diseases. The Lord can use you in bringing physical and spiritual healing to the most needy people in the slums of Mumbai. God's Simple Plan of Salvation

Are You Sure about Heaven?

Think carefully on this soul-searching question. If you were to die right now, do you know for sure you would go to heaven? If your answer is anything other than, “Yes, I am absolutely certain that my sins are forgiven and that heaven will be my home,” then here is an important message just for you. The Bible teaches that you need to know and believe these things to settle this.

First, you have sinned against God.

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

“As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10).

Then God tells us where sin leads.

“Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12).

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The wonderful news of the Bible is that Jesus loves you and died in your place to pay the penalty for your sin.

“But God commendeth [demonstrated] His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Now, here is what God wants you to do.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).

God wants you to believe His Word and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

If you will, then right now pray a simple prayer, asking the Lord to save you. (Remember, the exact words of this prayer do not save you, but it is what you believe in your heart as you pray a prayer of repentance to be saved that will save you.)

Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you came to earth and died on the cross for my sins and that you rose again from the dead and now you live in heaven! I’m sorry for sinning against you. Please forgive me for my sins and come into my heart and save me right now. Thank you for saving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Congratulations! If you prayed that prayer in faith, believing it with all your heart, then you are saved! You will go to heaven when you die, and starting now, God will help you throughout your entire life. Eternal life starts now! He can be your best friend.
